Hello Gator Families,
First and foremost - THANK YOU! Thank you for your generosity for staff appreciation. The staff were overcome with your donations of food and monetary gifts! I heard so many appreciative (and tearful!) thank yous and it would not have been possible with out you. :) The last meeting of the year is upon us! We will be voting in next year's board positions, the budget AND voting on where all of the money we've raised goes! Please attend! The code for joining is below. General PTA Meeting Tuesday, 11 May · 10:00 – 11:00am Google Meet joining info Video call link: https://meet.google.com/xrn-mxos-hoj A special welcome to all of the Kindergarten families that have been registering! We usually have a table out to meet you, but didn't get to do that - please reach out if you have any questions or want to get involved. The FUNd Run position is still open - it's the first position I ever did as a Kindergator mom and it was so rewarding! May your family stay healthy and we see you soon! Amanda McGraw You will find the board positions for next year attached. The FUNd Run position is still available! Thank you to everyone who showed interest in joining a chair position! There will be MANY opportunities for volunteering assuming we have a more normal year, so if you want to get involved, there will be a spot for you!
The budget for next year's PTO is below that we will be referencing at next week's meeting.

Our next - AND LAST - Papa John's Dollars for Dough night is Thursday, May 13th! You can use code GOSHEN all day at the Timber Ridge or Springhurst locations for us to receive money back! If we beat our largest fundraiser ($1369) we get 30% back instead of 20%!!! Let's do it Goshen!
Order your EduKit's by June 1st! All students must order at least kit #2! (but why would you subject yourself to buying any of it when it can be delivered to school??). The link is here
Don't forget to scan your receipts! This year we will only be submitting digital box tops and not the traditional paper box tops. For those new to this program, we want to provide you with the details on how it works.
For digital box tops this will require each parent/participant to download the free “Box Top” app and register this under Goshen Elementary. Then using their grocery receipts you will use the Box Top app to upload a picture of your receipt within 14 days of purchase and the app identifies eligible products and automatically adds Box Tops to your school’s earnings online. To get funds directly to your student’s teacher please click the star icon to give “credit” and place the teachers last name prior to clicking the “submit” button. The app is very easy to utilize and walks you through the steps. For those families that utilize online grocery shopping, receipts can be submitted from select retailers to earn Box Tops. Participants will still need to download the Box Tops app and then forward the emailed receipt to [email protected] using the same email associated with your Box Top Account. Box tops are then credited in 10 business days. If you have questions please reach out to Vonnie Rodgers our Goshen Elementary Box Tops for Education Coordinator at [email protected] If you are new to Goshen Elementary, please contact us at [email protected]
The PTA would love to welcome you to the Goshen family and answer any questions you might have! We are glad you are joining our Goshen family! |
